Contraindications

There are situations or conditions where my services should not be used. Please always consult your GP or a specialist, before you have any of the treatments offered.

The Bioelectric and Pressotherapy is not recommended for those with the following conditions:

• Pacemaker
• Pregnant women
• Those with severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular diseases
• Those with pain or numbness that has not been evaluated by a doctor
• Thrombosis (DVT- blood clot in the arms and legs) or Thrombophlebitis, Gangrene, Dermatitis.
• Clients with untreated or infected wounds
• Undergone heart implants and surgery
• Severe inflammation of the skin or recent skin grafts.

Those who have had body implants or any other cosmetic treatments, must make this known before booking an appointment.

Prior to you attending I will ask you to complete a Client Consultation & an Informed Consent Form. If you have any contraindications, you will be requested to complete a GP Consent Form.

Saunas are not good for people with cardiovascular conditions, during pregnancy, respiratory conditions, if you take certain medication or have blood pressure issues. Please always consult your GP before booking a session.

It is your responsibility to communicate any new issues, changes to your situation or condition before any treatment is booked or carried out.
